AGRICULTURAL WASTES TO ENERGY – COMMUNITY TRAINING IN THE PRODUCTION OF CHARCOAL FROM AGRICULTURAL WASTES
CULTURE RADIO in collaboration with FINIC and the CLIMATE CHANGE CONSORTIUM will be conducting training to Grafton community residents in the processing of AGRICULTURAL wastes to ENERGY:
PHASE 1- Grafton Community 15 person (Gender sensitive)
Venue: Negus Nagas Complex – Grafton
The objectives of this project are as follows:
1. – To embark on alternative charcoal production using agricultural wastes like Palm Kernel Shells (PKS), coconut shell, Saw dust, Elephant grass, leaves etc- thereby reducing the cutting down of trees;
2.- JOB CREATION After acquiring the training, we (Culture Radio, FINIC, Climate Change Consortium) will help to build a production capacity that will create employment for young people in the community.
The overall GOAL of this training is to reduce the massive depletion of our precious forests; by producing.
